Relics of Witney - Conditions of Sale
  1. In placing an order with Relics it is assumed that you have read and understand the following Conditions of Sale.
  2. All information presented in the various Relics catalogues, in leaflets or verbally is given in good faith. Woodwork restoration, and DIY however, are not exact sciences and even the best product can give the wrong results if applied or fitted incorrectly. Please always read the instructions on the product label and test products on similar spare wood or inconspicuous areas to check compatibility and end result before working in earnest.
  3. Since skill of application, use and site conditions are beyond our control we can accept no responsibility for the performance of any product arising from such use beyond the value of the goods delivered by us. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  4. Our ranges include some solvent based products that may present hazards in their use, storage and transport. Attention should be paid to the recommendations and health and safety information given on the product labels. Some products are tested to BS5665 and are safe for use on toys, please ask for further details.
  5. Relics cannot be held responsible for losses incurred by late/non delivery of goods for causes deemed beyond their control.
  6. Products found to be faulty as a result of workmanship or materials upon proof of purchase will be replaced free of charge or a refund given to the value of the original purchase. All claims for faulty goods must be notified to us within three days of receipt. No responsibility however can be accepted if wrongful installation is apparent.
  7. Shortages or damages must be advised to us within three working days from receipt of goods. All packaging and goods must be retained by the customer for inspection.
  8. Goods ordered in error will be credited, subject to their remaining in original condition. A handling charge of 10% will be deducted.
  9. Unwanted items must be returned to Relics within 14 days of receipt, in original and saleable condition.
  10. Refunds will be given on stock items after proof of purchase has been established and goods are returned in original and saleable condition to the value of the original purchase excluding postage and packing.
  11. Relics will not disclose customers' information to third parties.
